This is a weekend posting because today we went to meet Kate Allatt and her family in Sheffield, as my dear boys know I am not a huge fan of Facebook but without it we wouldn’t have met – see other post.
Anyway today Kate was determined after much training, to do a 5m Fun run on the anniversary of her stroke.
It was great to meet her, Mark and the kids and their parents, Marks parents live in Southport, and there was much discussion about rugby league and rugby union, Nik being a fan of the latter, we had a lovely day, nice food and drinks, and we also called in on Courtney and Jane.
